"Alerts are fine, but the delay is annoying"
The notifications do come through, but they’re sometimes a bit late. It’s frustrating because then I have to double-check things myself or follow up manually, which just adds extra work I was hoping the alerts would save me from.

It logs data just fine once it’s up and running. Setup took me a little while, but support was helpful and basically said, “try this setting and restart it,” which got me moving in the right direction. Overall, good experience

"Took so long it kind of missed the point"
I ordered from lacrossetechnology.com assuming it would ship within a reasonable amount of time, but it felt like the order just sat there for days without any meaningful update. The tracking didn’t really help either, since it was slow to change and didn’t give me much confidence about when it would arrive. By the time it finally showed up, I didn’t need it anymore, which was the frustrating part. The product itself may be perfectly fine, but the whole experience reminded me that timing matters just as much as the item when you’re ordering something for a specific need

"Reminds me why I stick with La Crosse"
I’ve had my La Crosse weather station for a while now, and the outdoor sensor has been rock solid. My dad always had one of these kinds of stations on the porch when I was growing up, so I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for them. This one has held up through rain, chilly mornings, and hot afternoons without losing connection or giving weird readings. I barely have to think about it, which is exactly what I wanted. Really happy with how dependable it’s been.

I’ve had this weather station for about two years. At first it worked well, but over time the sensors started losing signal and the temperature readings got kind of weird. I kept replacing the batteries, thinking that was the issue, and felt a little embarrassed because I kept telling people it was just a quick fix. I had to send back a weather station that didn’t work right out of the box, and it kind of confirmed what I already thought about returns being a little annoying but usually manageable. The form was simple enough to fill out, though I did have to wait a day or two before anyone got back to me.
Once they replied, everything moved along smoothly. They processed the return without any hassle, and the refund showed up not long after they received it. It wasn’t flawless, but it was fair, which is basically what I expected

"Wireless range is disappointing!!!"
It works fine when it’s nearby, but the wireless range has been a letdown!!! I’ve got the sensor maybe 40 feet away with just one wall in between, and it still keeps dropping out!!! I tried fresh batteries and moved it around a few times, but it’s still spotty. For the price, I expected better!!!

"Battery dies way too fast"
The battery life is awful. I barely get any use out of it before it needs charging again, and after waiting in a long queue just to buy it, that made it even more frustrating.

The temperature readings seem close most of the time. I actually compared it with another thermometer and it was only off by a little bit. Setup took me a minute to figure out, but it works fine now.
